Victorian Climate Resilient Councils (VCRC)
Victorian Climate Resilient Councils (VCRC) is a program to support Victorian councils to manage and reduce climate change risks impacting their assets, services and operations.
VCRC consists of five steps councils can work through on their climate resilience journey. It provides useful resources, toolkits and case studies to help councils work through each step.
The Western Alliance for Greenhouse Action (WAGA) leads the implementation of VCRC on behalf of the Victorian Greenhouse Alliances. The program is funded by the Australian Government’s Disaster Ready Fund until 2028.
